Honestly, what were they thinking? Spotted in my Girlfriends neighbourhood.
Its like having dog Poison in a pet shop.
I mean, the even look like they recollect trash or boxes or something.

How do you even end up with paint like that? Even if you have to stop for a while, shouldn't you be left with straight lines?

I wish I can show you guys the driveway at my friend's house. His dad's a Toyota employee so he gets great deals on cars apparently because they currently have three Prii (one reg, two plug-in I think), a Highlander Hybrid (that they just sold) and a Limited Sienna.
THERE ARE ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN THAT HOUSEHOLD THAT CAN DRIVE.

One for when you need to drive the kids everywhere, one for when you don't?
One for the spouse with the 60 mile commute, one for the spouse who only does the school run?

How do you/she like the Commander? Thought they were nifty looking when they came out, but haven't had more than a passing glance at one on the road.

She loves it.
One big thing to consider was she went from a complete feather weight Jeep Liberty that bounced skipped and hopped down the road because it had no weight to it. The Commander (and i'm going to hate myself for saying this) feels more grounded, like every bump isn't a mini ramp.
people have called the interior cheesey with the exposed alan wrench screws in the dash and plasticy dash, but we actually really like it. Interior is spacious to the point where 4 adults can ride a road trip with their luggage and all be comfortable, I give Chrysler some major props on the "theater seating" in it.
We have the 3.7L V6 AWD model. It's the entry level model and we do not have the 3rd row. The only complaint is I find the V6 to be a tad underpowered for such a large vehicle aaaand the gas mileage. But let's be honest, we didnt buy the Commander for MPGs. I almost wish we had just saved a little more cash and got the hemi and true 4x4.
Also, the fun thing is, it accepts all suspension parts from the Grand Cherokee, which it's basically a clone of with a stretched wheel base to accommodate the optional 3rd row. So lift kits, and at least a leveling kit are all readily available.
They are surprisingly capable off road. Here's a fun custom lifted one (google image searched from getlost4x4.com) :

I'm not sure what you're pointing out... is it the fact that they have a Prius and an Escalade in the driveway, or that the Escalade is under the canopy but the Prius is not, or that the paint is incomplete on the left, or that there's a random ass balcony with no support, or that there's tons of trash outside, or that their backyard seems to be a parking lot?

GAH YOU SAID IT.
Man I really didn't want to, but it feels so SOLIDLY planted, unlike the Liberty.
Anyhow, it's a really cool truck and I feel it has the lines of an overgrown XJ honestly haha. You can do cool stuff with them, and they work great for driving around. She HAS been able to crack 20 mpg while cruising on the highway. That was with 4 adults and luggage too.

Hmmmm, that seems logical. But the way I see it, they didn't bought the Prius because they care about the environment. Something much worse: They must have bought it because they thought it cad a cool car!

Yeah, but the Escalade is the ESV. So It kind of tis more on the wasting side. There might be a bike in there though, that would compensate.

Well, you just pointed out all of the things I didn't notice at first. Haha just the irony of having a Prius and an ESV Escalade.

Yeah, I try to show the redundancy of having a Prius and an ESV Escalade. They don't seem to care that much of the environment since they have the Escalade, so the Prius was a buy because they thought it was cool or something.
